Duke Professor of English and Professor of Law at Duke University and the author of the new book Private Bodies/Public Texts: Race, Gender, and a Cultural Bioethics (Duke University Press, 2011). The special taping is being held in conjunction with the regular Wednesdays @ the Center programming at the John Hope Franklin Center at Duke University. The Gothic Bookshop will have copies of Private Bodies/Public Texts: Race, Gender, and a Cultural Bioethics for sale.
