After performing a 20-minute stand-up routine (which my buddy Ed Pavlic suggest means GSH was on his game), Gil Scott-Heron began his performance at The Carolina Theater on February 5th, with a spoken word rendition of "Space Shuttle." Throughout the evening Scott-Heron was sharp, lucid, smart and funny.
